A radar that guides your hands
The ring grows and pulses faster as you close in. A gentle tick you can feel keeps pace, so you can search with your hands instead of staring at the screen.
Warmer. Colder. Very close.
Left-behind alerts
Never walk off without them
Optional alerts nudge you if you leave your headphones behind. At a café, on a train, in the office. Alerts wait 90 seconds, so putting your earbuds in their case won't set one off.

FAQ
Finding lost AirPods and earbuds
How do I find my AirPods in my house?
Open Headphone Finder and tap scan. Within a second or two it tells you whether your AirPods are in range. If they are, walk from room to room and watch the radar: the ring grows and pulses faster as you get closer. When it says very close, check under cushions, in coat pockets and down the side of the sofa.
How do I find lost AirPods that are offline?
Find My shows AirPods offline when they are not connected to an Apple device. If they still have charge and are close by, they are usually still broadcasting Bluetooth. Headphone Finder listens for that signal directly, so it can often tell you they are nearby even when Find My only shows a last known location.
Can you find AirPods that are offline and dead?
No. If the battery is flat, your AirPods stop broadcasting and no app can detect them. Start with the places you last used them, and check Find My for their last known location.
Will it find just one lost earbud?
Often, yes. A single AirPod or earbud out of its case usually broadcasts on its own while it has charge. Scan, pick it from the list, and follow the radar.
Can it find a lost AirPods case?
Only if the case is broadcasting. A closed case usually stops earbuds broadcasting, so if the earbuds are inside it, the app may not see them. An open case with earbuds inside is much easier to find.
Does it work with non-Apple headphones?
Yes. It works with most Bluetooth headphones and earbuds, including Bose, Sony, JBL, Beats, Sennheiser, Anker and Jabra. Some headphones only use classic Bluetooth, which iPhones cannot measure signal strength from. The app can still tell you whether they are in range.
Does it work if my headphones are switched off?
No. Headphones that are switched off, out of battery or out of range send no signal, so there is nothing to detect. The app works when they are on and roughly within one or two rooms of you.
Why can't apps show the exact direction to AirPods?
Headphones have no ultra-wideband chip, so no app can point an arrow at them, including Apple's own Find My. Headphone Finder uses signal strength to tell you whether you are getting warmer or colder, which is what actually finds earbuds down the back of a sofa.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-up and no ads. Bluetooth scanning happens on your phone and nothing about nearby devices leaves it.
They're probably closer than you think.
